18th to 25th Aug 2011, FireBird, Brothers, Daedalus.
I would like to thank Deep Blue Cruises, and especially Kathrin (our guide) and the whole crew of the MV Firebird for a great week on my first Safari. I was very impressed so where do I start? Everything was organised (thanks Ina), from the vehicle pickup at the beginning to the airport drop off at the end. The organisation on board, the boat briefings, the facilities on-board and the bunkrooms etc. were brilliant. The crew were always friendly and helpful and a special thanks to the chefs for the meals, they were fantastic. My compliments to them all.
I don’t speak German and even though all the other guests were German nationals, I was always given a separate English language briefing whether it was for the boat or for the dives. The dives were good, generally 3 a day and we saw many interesting fish and corals, in particular, the several sightings of sharks (Hammerhead and grey Reef) and the ‘biggest oldest heaviest’ turtle in the world. All the journeys between the dive sites were smooth thanks to the good weather. It really was a great week and I would recommend it to anyone, and yes, I would go again. thanks for the Safari, it was really Super! As already said personally, I enjoyed it really a lot. Your organization has been really good and appreciated. The red see has done the other part!

ich möchte Euch noch mal herzlichst Danken. Es war einen super tolle Woche von Anfang bis Ende! - Ina und Tina, vielen Dank für die Begrüßung und den netten Abschluss, die Crew war sowieso spitze :-) und auch ein Danke an alle Guides. Selten so viele entspannte Tauchgänge gemacht und so wohl als Gast an Board gefühlt.
